Regency: the perfect partner.
Regency’s self-funding capital strategy gives us the distinct advantage of being able to move quickly to capitalize on opportunities, as well as the flexibility to consider complex or long-term projects because we have the resources to see them through.
More importantly, Regency brings more to the table than capital. We’re a partner that knows development, having completed more than 180 retail projects representing an investment of approximately $3 billion since 2000. Regency also adds value with an extensive development infrastructure, a team that has entitlement expertise, willingness to take prudent risks, relationships with cities and major retailers and is fun to work with.
Good partner, good neighbor.
Being good stewards of the communities we serve is one of Regency’s core beliefs. We know that the key to success is collaboration.
Regency

Regency is committed to building sustainably and is the first retail developer to partner with the U.S. Green Building Council on a pilot program to LEED certify shopping centers. Regency is also the first retail developer to announce a sustainability plan, greengenuity™, with specific LEED certification goals for new developments.
Regency brings together financial stability, a proven track record, expertise with complex projects, sensitivity to communities, design excellence and best-in-class retailer relationships to add substantial value to the quality developments we create.
No matter your need, only one company has the talent, the experience and the resources to move your project forward—Regency.
It has been my privilege to partner with Regency on eight retail developments in Northeast. Regency’s development teams are experienced, conscientious, highly responsive and completely trustworthy professionals that understand the development process.

Market at Colonnade is the second development project I have worked on with Regency. The project was first presented to Whole Foods Market in 2003. I joined with Regency in pursuing this opportunity in 2006 and, after a year of pursuing the project, Regency was successful in purchasing the property in late 2007. It was only through the persistence of the Regency team that the project is getting done. The north Raleigh market is very competitive and this site fits Whole Foods' requirements perfectly. This development took a great deal of persistence and Regency Centers was the only company I met with enough vision and expertise to pull this together.
