Information Collection & Use
Regency collects personally identifiable information from our users through various means.
In the Tenant Services section of our Site, tenants can pay rent, report center operational issues, report sales, update insurance and contact information in connection with your Lease. The information submitted may contain personally identifiable information, such as your name, email address and telephone number. Information that you submit will be used to provide services to you and/or used by Regency is permitted under your Lease and applicable law. We may also use this information to contact you if we have questions regarding the information submitted or your Lease.
In the Investors section of our Site, users can request information -and set Email notifications. As such, users are required to submit personally identifiable information such as your name, telephone, email address and mailing address. This investor portion of the Site is currently managed and operated by a third party service provider for Regency identified at the bottom of the main Investors ("IR Provider"). We and/or the IR Provider use this information to provide the information requested. Information Collected Automatically
We gather certain information automatically when you use our Site. This information includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, and pages viewed. We use this information, which does not identify individual users, to analyze trends, to administer the Site, to track users’ movements around the Site and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole. We do not link this automatically-collected data to personally identifiable information.
The information above is collected primarily through our use of Google Analytics to help analyze how users use the Site. The Google Analytics tool uses "cookies," which are text files placed on your computer, to collect standard Internet log information and visitor behavior information in an anonymous form. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the Site (including IP address) is transmitted to Google. This information is then used to evaluate visitors' us of the Site and to compile statistical reports on website activity for Regency. Information Sharing and Disclosure/Links to Other Sites
We will share personal information with third party companies, organizations or individuals outside of Regency if we have a good-faith belief that access, use, preservation or disclosure of the information is reasonably necessary to:
- Meet any applicable law, regulation, subpoena, legal process or enforceable governmental request.
- Detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues.
- Protect against harm to the rights, property or safety of Regency, our users, customers or the public as required or permitted by law.
Transfer in the Event of Sale or Change of Control
You may always request us not to use your personally identifiable information collected through our site. Please keep in mind, however, this may affect our ability to provide services or information to you. Access to Personally Identifiable Information
If your personally identifiable information changes, or if you no longer desire our service, you may correct, update or delete it by contacting us at the Contact Us information listed below.
We use industry standard physical, technical and administrative security measures and safeguards to protect the confidentiality and security of your personal information. However, since the Internet is not a 100% secure environment, we cannot guarantee, ensure, or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us. There is no guarantee that information may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of our physical, technical, or managerial safeguards. It is your responsibility to protect the security of your login information. Please note that e-mails and other communications you send to us through our Site are not encrypted, and we strongly advise you not to communicate any confidential information through these means.
Our Website is not intended or designed to attract children who are under the age of 13. We do not knowingly solicit, collect, use or retain personally identifiable information for any purpose from visitors under the age of 13. We will delete any records of such personally identifiable information that is brought to our attention.
