We also directly sponsor a variety of corporate causes. Two that receive the most funding are the United Way and Habitat for Humanity.
United Way is a national system of volunteers, contributors and local charities helping all individuals and families achieve their human potential through education, income stability and healthy lives. It is one of the most efficient non-profit organizations in terms of donated funds flowing directly into the intended community, and the broad reach among hundreds of communities with a wide network of affiliated programs. Regency Centers and United Way have developed a strong partnership over the years, largely due to individual efforts, with 96% of our employees participating in the United Way campaigns.
Habitat for Humanity is a philanthropic non-profit, dedicated to bringing people together to build homes, communities and hope. Its focus on developing simple and affordable housing enables us to not only give funds, but to also become directly involved with the individual projects that make such an impact.
